I thought I add a chapter of my cruise control restoration. Some "specialists" cut cables so short on the regulating unit, that it's mandatory to replace the cables. Here's how I've done it:
This you have to drill out; I closed it with some glue...
Here's the circuit board ...
To get the circuit board out, you have to do this ...
Now we're ready to solder new cables ...
Be careful with this spring!
Take out the tooth wheel...
Here we go!
And done!
