The dismantling started last year, but due to excessive workload, it's going slower than expected. Motor/gearbox are out, doors completely dismantled and all hoses etc. removed.

Next step will be to remove the axles and to build a little carriage to roll the body around ...

The sedan body donor is now completely dismantled and ready for transport … Same applies for the Pickup; the rear screen is out and a couple of good chrome parts have been dismantled too

April is scheduled for transporting the cars to the panel beater and restorer!

So yesterday the cars were picked up and put into a covered Trailer. They're on their way to Finland now, where an Enthusiast (or an idiot like me ;-) will take care of the body works ...

The cars arrived in Finland, however the sedan wheels didn't like the transport ;-) … maybe there was too much weight loaded into the car.

So I'm looking forward to the starting works and my first trip to Finland in June/July!
